Jazz is not just for nightclubs anymore. The bright blooms and hot jazz will flow this Thursday night, when one of summer’s top outdoor concerts returns to Phipps.

Unwind within the serene outdoor garden at Phipps to enjoy a distinctive evening under the stars fusing local music, food and libations.

This year’s performance features renowned Pittsburgh father-and-son jazz duo Benny Benack, Jr. and Benny Benack III, who will perform classics from Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., Dean Martin, Harry Connick, Jr., Michael Bublé and more.

Carrying on a musical family legacy that’s been a part of the Pittsburgh jazz scene for more than 50 years, The Benacks will be joined by an all-star lineup, including saxophonists Eric DeFade and Rick Matt, trombonists Reggie Watkins and Isaac Viars, trumpet players Lou Pisani, Joe Badaczewski and J.D. Chaisson, Max Leake on keyboard, bassist Alexander Claffy and drummer Joe Peri.

The event will also feature a wine and beer cash bar.
