WHERE: National Aviary
WHEN: October 18, 6:30 – 10 p.m.
Why You Should Go:
Inviting the 21+ crowd to enjoy its immersive habitats and its feathered inhabitants after-hours, the Oktoberfest revelry will feature music by Mädel Jäger and authentic German fare crafted by chef Josef Karst of Atria’s.
Nosh on dishes like rostbratwurst, krautspaetzle, jaegerschnitzel — along with potato pancakes, pretzels and apple strudel — and wash it all down with German-style brews from Sam Adams.
Owl lovers can also visit the new Tropical Rainforest exhibit and can even meet a penguin up-close.
