Move over Furries, it’s Tekko time. The region’s premier Japanese pop culture convention, Tekko has something for all fans.

Wear your most inventive threads and enter the Cosplay Craftsmanship Contest and Lolita Fashion Show, and race against the clock to find your way out of the Wonderland Escape Room.

Play the day away in Tekko’s massive Gaming Hall — featuring everything from collectible cards and retro video consoles, to anime and role-playing — and let off steam during dance parties led by DJs ChaoticStyle, Doverspike and TRicKLe.

Enroll at the Tekko Gakkou School to explore Japanese food, history, music, fashion, and more during educational panel discussions, roundtables and workshops.

Presented by the Pittsburgh Japanese Culture Society, the four-day festivities will also feature special appearances by top anime voice actor Monica Rial, singer/songwriter Nancy Kepner and anime anthropologist Charles Dunbar.
