Downtown Irwin’s Light Up Night is jam-packed with fun activities. At 4 p.m., Main Street will close in preparation for light up night, but stores and restaurants remain open. So feel free to come early to shop around and grab a bite to eat. At 5 p.m., entertainment kicks off with an orchestra at 5th and Main and Janets Dance Studio and Queen of Angels Choir at 4th and Main. The Lamp Theatre will be showing The Polar Express before and after the Parade (approximately 4:15 and 8:15) for free. Stop by the box office beforehand for your ticket. At 6 p.m., rush to the Christmas tree at 3rd and Main to see I Am Music Singers perform and to get a good spot for the lighting of the tree at 6:25 p.m. The parade will start shortly after, around 6:30 p.m. After the parade is over, end your night by saying hi to Santa at the S&T Bank lobby at 3rd and Main.
Friday, Nov. 23
Santa is coming to Ligonier! Gather around the newly-renovated Diamond Park at 6:30 p.m. to admire the beautiful lights and kick off the holiday season. Then take a horse-drawn sleigh ride around town and be sure to stop and visit Santa!
