Welcome to Southwestern Pennsylvania… The intent of swPenna.com is to provide information and insight about the Pittsburgh area & its countryside to visiting tourists as well as locals who are interested in learning more about their hometown area. The backbone of the site is a collection of external links to attractions and events, organized geographically. Together these links provide a recreational guide for the various counties and neighborhoods in the region. In addition, historical information, folklore, unique content and interesting “tidbits” are being added to enhance the guide and provide the users with a sense of heritage and a feel for the specific area in which they are interested. Summary swPenna.com is currently accepting advertisements for its various pages, including the Index page, county pages and local pages, as well as the restaurant and accommodation pages. Only advertisements related or complimentary to the subject matter will be accepted. The currently supported advertisement options include banner advertisements or “Featured” Links. At the present time, the website is undergoing a period of content-related maintenance and upgrades, therefore there is currently NO CHARGE for posting an advertisement. It is anticipated that in the future a nominal fee will be charged for advertising, the amount depending on advertising demand, site popularity and incurred costs.

Banner Advertising Banner ads must be of the size 468 X 60 pixels or 180 X 50 pixels to be accepted and must be relevant to one of the swPenna.com web pages. Please indicate which page you would like your ad to appear. If you do not have a banner ad for your company or organization, we may be able to create one for you. Featured Links Several of the pages within swPenna.com allow for “Featured Links”. These links appear at the top of the page in their own space, separated from the rest of the links below. Featured Links also allow for short descriptions, whereas the general links do not.
